FAQ

WHERE TO MEET?
In the summer, we will meet campers at Viewridge Park located at 4408 NE 70th Street, Seattle 98115 on the southside of the park. You can’t miss us!
Mid-Winter Break Camps meet at our studio location at 3524 NE 95th Street, Seattle, WA 98115. It is located in the One Life Community Church on the SE entrance,
WHAT TIME?
We meet daily from 9 am to 3 pm. Because we’ll be setting up camp, we won’t be ready to sign your child in until 8:55 AM.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING?
  • Towel/blanket for sitting on during snack/lunch
  • Plenty of Water (there is no water fountain at the park anymore!)
  • Your child sun screened and extra sunscreen (We will apply more via aerosol spray if needed.)
  • 2 Snacks & Lunch- No sharing! The crows at camp are good at taking lunches. Make sure you have food in closed containers so that those pesky birds cannot open and take it away
  • Hand Sanitizer
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT GRADE TO SIGN UP FOR?
Sign your child up for the grade they will be entering in the fall. For example, if your child is in 1st grade now, they will be a Rising 2nd grader for summer camp.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Knock on wood, we have been incredible lucky and have had wonderful weather, however, we will meet rain or shine at the park. In the unlikely case of extreme weather conditions (poor air quality, extreme heat) deemed unsafe for kids’ activities, WDS reserves the right to cancel one or more days of camp or end camp early without refund. This is rare.
CAN I SIGN MY CHILD UP FOR MORE THAN ONE WEEK? WILL IT BE DIFFERENT?
We create original stories together as a group and the kids come up with their own characters and plots. Each week is new and different!
